Kylian Mbappé’s Medical Exams Are Worrying!

Injuries are haunting French club PSG. Galtier’s team had to enter the field without Brazilian striker Neymar due to injury. This time the Paris giants hit a bigger blow. Mbappe and Sergio Ramos left the field just 10 minutes apart against Montpellier on Thursday night (January 1).

Ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, the Champions League group stage is over. The draw of who will face whom in the last sixteen has also been held. The two-legged knockout phase of the European Champions League will begin on February 15. PSG‘s three star players were injured in the Champions League.

Where Neymar is already absent due to injury, these two important stars joined the journey. However, the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

However, despite Messi’s great performance and victory, Mbappe’s injury was causing discomfort in the PSG camp. After the match, PSG coach Christophe Galitier said that Mbappe suffered a hamstring injury. We still don’t know if there is a wound or not. It doesn’t seem too serious. Not too worried.

A recent statement from the club gave fans bad news. It is known that Mbappe’s injury is more serious than expected. PSG coach Christophe Gaultier’s initial observation was that Mbappe had injured the back of his knee. However, after examination, it was found that the injury was quite serious.

The devastating injury has forced the French star out of action for at least three weeks. And so PSG will have to enter the field without Mbappe in the upcoming Champions League match against Bayern Munich on February 14.

Not only that, the chances of getting him against Marseille in the last sixteen of the French Cup are slim.

Mbappe scored 25 goals in 26 matches for PSG this season. Despite losing him, PSG hopes that Mbappe will return in the return leg against Bayern in the Champions League.

A couple of penalty misses in the beginning, then out of the field due to injury. All in all, the match against Montpellier in League One was a nightmare for PSG star Kylian Mbappe. The reigning champions secured a 3-1 victory over Montpellier after a two-match winless streak.
